Ballet

Our school went to go and see ballet at the Performing Arts Centre.
Not all the grades at our school went only grades (3-8) went to see.
The type of dance that they were doing was ballet.
I myself was at full band so I only got to see a little bit of it.
When I was there my favorite part was the last dance/song. I liked it how the music stopped for 3 seconds and the dancers freeze too. It was really cool.
Well for surprises the same thing how they froze in one position when the music stopped.
What I expected to see was (ballet) and a little bit of acting, and when they were acting and dancing at the same time it all went with the music to.

For props they used small tables ( how they used it) they jumped on top of it.
The costumes were pretty and pretty cool and all of them matched and the costumes fit in with the song.
The set was set up well. The lighting was bright at some points of the dance and then it darkened a little bit and when the curtains closed it got really dark in the room.
When I was at the show I never really seen anything bad that had happened when I was there.
The good things that had happened was that they all new the dances very well.
All of them looked comfortable up there during the performance.
If there were judges there and I was one of them and I had to mark them on scale of 1 to 10 I would give them a 10.

Mona Lisa

Hi my name is Leonardo da Vinci, and I am an artist.
Leonardo was working on a painting called Mona Lisa.
Leonardo ran out of paint so he went down to the paint store. When he came back from
the paint shop as he went to put the paint away except for one on the shelf.
He bumped into the shelf and a magic potion fell off the shelf, and it landed
On the picture of Mona lisa. Leonardo looked at the picture the potion was covered
Everywhere. A second later the painting had smoke all around it.
Was the painting coming to life? It did Mona Lisa his painting came to life he was
Amazed. Mona Lisa said “ I want to become the next top model,” “ Why do you want to
Become the next top model?” said Leonardo “ Well, I always wanted to be a model” said
Mona Lisa. So they went to audition. She beat all the models, and made it to the top two
But she was against Phillip. Mona Lisa said “ I will never win this, I don’t have any
Clothes to.” Leonardo said, “ You can do this how about we go to the clothing shop,
And I will get you some cool clothes, so than you will have really cool outfits for the
Show. They both walked to the clothing shop. When they were there at the shop
Mona Lisa heard Phillip talking to himself and he said when I become the
Next top model I will destroy Moan lisa, and the other models too. “ Oh no.” said Mona
Lisa, “ What will I do.” She ran to Leonardo, thinking that
She needed some training. She would ask Leonardo, and when she asked him, Leonardo
Said that he would help.
As they worked hard day and night, finally that day came, “ let’s go do this! You
Can do it Mona Lisa.” Phillip and Mona Lisa were both nervous, but they had to do it.
They both started walking across the stage.
After they were finished modeling, the judges thought and they gave Phillip a
9, a 10, a 10 Mona Lisa got a 10, a 10, and a 10! MONA LISA WON!! She looked at
Phillip. He was disappointed. He gave her a mean look and walked away. Leonardo said,
“ I can’t believe you won the contest! Let’s go celebrate!!” ahhhhhhhhh “ What was that
Someone screamed,” Leonardo said then he turned around and FIRE. Mona Lisa and
Leonardo ran for the exit door Mona Lisa heard someone say Mona Lisa she turned
Around and Mona Lisa saw Phillip and Phillip said, “ I’M MELTING I’M MELTING
Tell my mother I love her.
